From the President's Desk...
I
would like to start off by saying that Kesa’s happy smile and warm presence
will be dearly missed at our board meetings. She put her heart into the PMC
and we are sad to
see her moving on.
The Autumnal Equinox will bring us a change of seasons and new beginnings this year on September 22, which also means that Summer is coming to an end. It is hard to believe how fast time escapes us. It seems like just a few days ago that the kids were getting ready for swimming lessons…now we are thinking about pumpkins and Halloween costumes. By now your kids are settled into their preschools and some of you have children that have just started Kindergarten. WOW. We hope that everyone has had a great summer we were happy that some of you were able to join us for our fun PMC events. Let’s get the community spirit flowing by supporting our club and mingling at more of our events.
We have some wonderful monthly socials coming up this year:
September 17th will be our Ice Cream Social at the
Creamery. Don’t miss out; they have the BEST ice
cream!
This year will be our first Meet the Local Pre-Schools
Night on October 22nd at the Women’s Club on B
Street. This is a great opportunity for all you parents
to have all the pre-schools in one room to ask
all those daunting questions.
You won’t want to miss the Fall Carnival, October 19th at Kenilworth Jr. High School. Last year was fall-tastic and this year is sure to be more fun! Don’t forget to take time to pamper yourself. Have you been to a MNO (Mom’s Night Out)? If so then you know not to miss them! I’ll see you on September 22nd, 6pm at Lily Nails on Kentucky for a Mani/Pedi night.
